only positive aspect was the house carer/ cleaner, who was pleasant and helpful throughout.

I was disappointed with the overall management of this homestay. Communication from the owner was not satisfactory, and important house rules were only shared at the end of the stay rather than upfront, which made the experience frustrating. Clear expectations from the beginning would have made a significant difference.
